Hi, I’m Kiersten, Client Advisor at Family One Source, proud Air Force spouse, and long-time believer in the power of financial education. My journey with Family One Source began in 2017 when my husband Chris and I were stationed at Tyndall AFB in Florida. A co-worker introduced us to this incredible resource, and what we learned about our benefits, money, and taxes completely shifted the way we managed our finances. At that point, Chris had already been serving for seven years—and I couldn’t help but wonder how many other military families were missing out on this life-changing information.
That moment sparked something in me. I joined the Family One Source team in 2018 as Director of Client Services and soon found my passion on the financial planning side. Now, as a Client Advisor, I help military families understand their unique benefits, align their finances with their values, and build a plan that supports their long-term goals. I’m also currently working toward my Registered Financial Planner designation to deepen the support I can offer.
Military life has taught me that financial peace doesn’t happen by accident—it takes intention, knowledge, and the right guide. I work with clients to reduce financial stress, avoid common pitfalls, and move toward a debt-free lifestyle that feels purposeful and sustainable.
Outside of work, I love supporting local businesses that give back to our military community. I’m also a coffee lover and enjoy exploring everything Alaska has to offer.
