Hi, I’m Mary—veteran spouse, Founder of Family One Source, and someone who believes deeply in the power of financial clarity. When I married into the Air Force over two decades ago, I quickly realized just how many complex decisions military families face—many of them with lifelong consequences. I also realized how little support existed to help navigate them. That’s what led me to start Family One Source.
My focus on financial planning grew out of necessity. Like so many military spouses, I had to learn how to manage our family’s money through constant moves, deployments, and career transitions. I set out to become what we couldn’t find—an advisor who truly understood military life and could help families make confident, informed decisions with their unique benefits and pay.
Now, more than 20 years later, I continue to help individuals and families find financial peace by bringing clarity, education, and organization into their lives. My mission is to provide guidance that’s transparent, collaborative, and grounded in service—because giving back to the military community is personal for me. It’s also why many of our services are offered at no cost to Military, First Responders, and Federal Employees.
